.......  Well I was happy with my saddle on Saturday when you fitted it.  The next chance I got to ride in it was Monday evening when I did 2 dressage tests.  The saddle is fantastic, I cannot believe I've tolerated my Jaguar saddle for so long and the fact that a master saddler sold it to me and couldn't get it right.   Gulliver came 3rd in the prelim. (68%) only because I forgot where B was so I broke canter - which put me 2% off first place.  We then came 6th in the Novice.  Considering we hadn't been out competing for almost 2 years, we did very well. 

The saddle is a dream to ride in, I stick like glue to it and I just need to give Gull a squeeze and he is really forward, I now have so much control and my left leg which is usually very unstable is now very still.  The saddle is unbelievable, I wouldn't have been able to get Gulliver round 2 tests in my Jaguar saddle I would have been struggling.  He seems to have lots of energy, but that's because I'm more effective now at getting my leg on him to make him go forwards, and the saddle allows me to just sit there.  The comments Gulliver got was ' a lovely horse with an active and quality trot'.  (never had any judge say he has an active trot). 

If you want any recommendations, please send them to me, as I have had a really difficult problem, having a wide horse, that's big moving, but lazy and I have reasonably long legs so I couldn't make contact on the horse where I needed to.  I've had 3 saddles, a Wintec, Amerigo and Jaguar but these really didn't help and as a last resort the saddler took the knee rolls off the Jaguar and put velcro on them so I had adjustable knee rolls, but even these didn't help.  I had got to the stage where I didn't enjoy riding my horse anymore.  Now it's a fantastic experience, I've got a forward, athletic horse which I never knew I had.
